This is your brain on advertising! Welcome to my blog created to foster discussion of the application of brain science to persuasion. It's hoped that this blog enhances the exchange of ideas between advertising professionals and media scientists. We all share the common goal of gaining insight into the design of powerful campaign messages and research into mind/brain interactions offers the promise of understanding persuasion like never before. However, we must carefully consider the ethics and scientific validity of applying discoveries about the brain to the very complex task of reaching and persuading individuals in a media target.

Fall Semester, 2008, I will be teaching a new class in which we will be discussing the new field of Neuromarketing.
